Monday - Friday 7:30 A.M. - 5:30 P.M. (10 hours)

If you need additional times, talk to us, as we may be able to work something out.

Ages

Regular day care hours, ages 1 year - 5 years

After school care, ages 6-13 years

Summer, ages 1 year-13 years

Provider Holiday's

Wickaboo! Day Care will be closed for the following vacations each year:

• Thanksgiving Day- Dates Vary
• Christmas Eve- December 24th
• Christmas Day- December 25th
• New Year's Day - January 1st

There may possibly be a vacation schedule made later. We will inform you at least two weeks in advance of any changes. All vacation days as well as federal holidays are unpaid.

Daily Schedule

This is the tentative daily schedule: circumstances may dictate changes.
Before all meals and afterward, we always wash hands with soap.

Learning Time is one-on-one time with your child and an age / ability appropriate book. I use the Kuman learning books found at Barnes & Noble, Walmart & Target. Parents are responsible for purchasing a book appropriate for their child’s learning level. Lessons include reading, writing, cutting, counting, colors, etc. Kids love the one-on-one attention they get. During this time, the other children get freeplay.

Quiet Time is one hour, after lunch. No one has to sleep during quiet time, but I do ask the kiddies to be quiet to respect those that might want to. I encourage them to take something quiet with them, such as a doodle pad, books and / or a friend (stuffed animal).

Project Time is something the gang always look forward to! I always have something fun for them to do that involves various skills: gluing, pasting, cutting, coloring, painting (both water & acrylic), play dough, etc. Children get to take their projects home with them.
